I have previously tried Shake Shack in Dubai, and it gave me a pretty good impression on the NYC based brand. It’s amazing how far they’ve come, considering they started out as a hot dog cart in Central Park back in 2004!
So, you may have heard that the lineup for this place is huge – and it is! The lineup went outside the door.
One of the reasons I enjoy eating at Shake Shack is because of the quality of their food.
“100% all-natural Angus beef, vegetarian fed, humanely raised and source verified. No hormones or antibiotics – EVER. We pride ourselves on sourcing incredible ingredients from like-minded artisanal producers.”
Unlike some other fast food places which don’t offer that kind of care in their food.
This was very yummy. The meat was so juicy (cooked medium rare) and the shacksauce went perfectly with it. If you love burgers, you’ve got to try this – 100 times better than a Mcdonalds cheeseburger, plus it’s way healthier. When I ate this in Dubai, it wasn’t as good (the meat didn’t taste as delicious). Waiting in line is definitely worth it.
Fries and hotdog
The fries were good too.
“Our fries are 100% free of artificial trans fats and cooked in 100% soybean oil.“
I really liked the hotdog as well. All the ingredients went really well together (relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, sport pepper, celery salt and mustard). A normal hotdog with just ketchup is boring compared to this. This hotdog has more flavor.
Probably the best fast food place I’ve been to. Definitely on my list for the best burgers. The service isn’t the main goal of a fast food restaurant, so obviously it won’t be Michelin.
