Diva, Vancouver, Canada – November 2012

Diva’s chef, Hamid Salimian, is very underestimated, and deserves more recognition! His food is some of the best in Vancouver, and is extremely delicious! Their tasting menu is super affordable – even underpriced! An impressive addition to Vancouver’s culinary representation.

Here are some of the courses (from back in November, 2012):Image

This was especially interesting because black isn’t a natural food color. The bread is sort of like a variation of a molecular muscle flavor. Cool!

As you can tell, these dishes are not from your average Vancouver dine-out experience!

The service was good! They were informative and friendly. The food had great quality, a nice presentation, is creative and tasty. You can tell that they care about the food, and are trying to develop into more innovations. The atmosphere was calm, modern, and upscale-formal. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a hip, new, tasty, original place in Vancouver!
